High School Comprehensive Science Teacher

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:        

• Valid Ohio 7-12 Secondary Science or 4-9 Middle Childhood Teaching Certificate
• Possess much patience for and enjoyment of high school aged students
• Ambitious, high – energy person
• Ability to maintain professional conduct, appearance and manner
• Organized individual with ability to use initiative and creativity in stimulating student learning
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to encourage active participation of students and to maintain an effective learning environment
• Familiar with and capable of utilizing Smart Board to enhance instruction
• Excellent classroom management techniques

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience as a secondary Science instructor
• Experience working with special needs students 
• A desire to affect change in the lives of children
